Policies & Procedures

Clubhouse/Pro-Shop/Practice Facility/Concessions

Online Booking & Check-In:
All tee times must be booked online with a valid credit card. Players must check in at the Pro Shop at least 15 minutes before their tee time.

Cancellations & No-Shows:
Tee times and player-count reductions may be canceled online up to 24 hours before play without charge. Cancellations within 24 hours, no-shows, and short shows will be charged 100% of the rack-rate green fee for each absent player, or one round will be deducted from the applicable player pass.

Same-Day Tee Time Changes:
Golfers may request a same-day tee time change by submitting an online request form, subject to availability on the same golf course. Hot Deals cannot be moved, and tee times may not be moved to a lower discounted rate. Tee Time Release for Resale:
Golfers may request that a tee time be released for potential resale by submitting an online request form within 24 hours of play. Any positions that do not resell remain subject to the applicable no-show charge. Singles Policy:
Singles may book an available single opening online or join an available foursome spot only in person at the Pro Shop and within 15 minutes of the tee time.

Walk-Ups:
All walk-up players will be directed to book online unless they are within 15 minutes of the tee time. Walk-ups within 15 minutes of the tee time may book in person at the Pro Shop, subject to availability.

Credits & Exceptions:
Charges may be waived when forecasted highs are below 50F or when course restrictions, delays, or closures occur after booking. Credit requests for emergencies or unforeseen circumstances must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the tee time. Approved credits apply to green fees only and expire on December 31 of the current year. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in suspension of playing privileges. Cart Availability:
Cart availability is not guaranteed and may change due to course conditions or operational needs. While you may reserve a riding rate, carts may not be available at your selected tee time, and walking may be required.

Outside Tournaments & Events:
Hyland Hills hosts outside tournaments and special events throughout the season that may affect public play. Guests are encouraged to review our Upcoming Events Calendar before booking or playing: https://www.golfhylandhills.com/upcomingevents/. For Reverse/Forward Shotgun tournaments, no refunds or credits will be issued if pace of play remains within acceptable standards (2:15 for 9 holes; 4:30 for 18 holes).

Lightning Warning Procedure

• One long air horn blast warning will be given when lightning is in the area and you should seek shelter at the clubhouse, on course shelter areas, or at one of our restroom facilities.
• GOLFERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CHECK IN OR PAY FOR THEIR ROUND UNTIL THE DELAY HAS BEEN CLEARED. USE OF THE PRACTICE FACILITY AND PRACTICE PUTTING AND CHIPPING GREENS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED UNTIL AFTER THE DELAY HAS BEEN CLEARED. 
• Two short blasts will be given when play can resume. If you feel in danger from lighting at any time on the courses, you should seek shelter immediately.

Children on the Courses

• • Children unless course certified by a member of the (Hyland Hills Management Team) may play unaccompanied at 14 years old or with an adult at 10 years old.

• • Spectators (non-golfers) must be 16 years old for liability/safety reasons.

• • Players must have a driver’s license to drive a cart. MINORS: If operator is under 18, signature of parent/guardian is required.

• Course certified – (Must be a paid player of the group. (maximum of 4 players per group). Must have their own set of golf clubs. Can keep up with pace of play. Understands and can follow course etiquette i.e. replace divots, repair ball marks on the greens).

Guest Policy

• Only paying guests are permitted on the golf courses at any time, including when the courses are closed.
• No fishing, biking, hiking, dog walking, or other non-golf recreational activities are permitted at any time, including when the courses are closed. Only certified service animals are permitted. 
• All additional District rules and regulations must be followed. Guests are subject to the Disorderly Conduct and Disciplinary Policy clauses.
• Any special uses (such as photoshoots) are subject to approval by the General Manager.

Code of Conduct

The Greg Mastriona Golf Courses At Hyland Hills takes great pride in the quality of its customers, visitors, staff, and golf facilities. This Code of Conduct is intended to ensure a safe, friendly, and respectful place for customers, visitors, and staff to gather in the spirit of cooperation, good will, fun, and friendly competition.

This Code of Conduct gives examples of acceptable and unacceptable behavior. Please note that the privilege of any individual to utilize The Greg Mastriona Golf Courses At Hyland Hills may be denied, suspended or terminated if it is determined to be in the best interest of The Greg Mastriona Golf Courses At Hyland Hills. Any individual or party whose conduct disrupts the operation of the facility or creates a disturbance to the detriment of the operation, staff, customers, or visitors of the facility, will be asked to leave the facility immediately by staff and may be subject to additional administrative or legal action.

All golfers and/or visitors at The Greg Mastriona Golf Courses At Hyland Hills are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that:

• Creates an environment and culture that is reflective of the personal integrity and respect documented in the Rules of Golf where it is written that we are capable of enforcing rules upon ourselves with honesty, integrity, and good sportsmanship. The same integrity, honesty, and good will are expected whether on the golf course, restaurant, clubhouse or present on any other portion of the property.
• Is free of discrimination or any form of harassing behavior to fellow golfers, visitors, or staff.
• Acknowledges Hyland Hills facilities as a customer and family friendly environment and refrains from using obscenities, excessively loud or otherwise inappropriate behavior.
• Acknowledges Hyland Hills facilities as a customer and family friendly environment and refrains from using excessively loud music or sounds. Please Call Proshop if experiencing.  
• Observes proper etiquette on and off the golf course and when present at any portion of the facility.
• Shows the utmost respect and dignity to fellow golfers, visitors, and staff.
• Demonstrates an understanding that golfers and visitors have no authority to instruct staff in job performance and duties.
• Is vigilant in reporting real or perceived safety hazards to staff or management.
• Is not to denigrate, talk down to, ridicule, or scream at fellow golfers, visitors, or staff members and does not create unnecessary divisiveness in any way.
• Does not misrepresent their position or authority to others.
• Follows the published dress code.
• Complies with all facility rules.
• Complies with golf staff, restaurant staff, maintenance staff, and/or Colorado Golf Association staff requests.
• Does not interfere with the ability of customers and/or staff to use the golf course for its intended purpose.
• Acknowledges that only alcoholic beverages purchased at the facility are permitted on the premises and that privately-owned coolers are not permitted on the premises.
• Destruction, damage, defacement, or removal of any District Property, including but not limited to equipment, buildings and landscapes, is prohibited.

Any customer or visitor who violates or fails to observe the The Greg Mastriona Golf Courses At Hyland Hills Code of Conduct may be sanctioned as follows:

• Issuance of a verbal warning.
• Issuance of a written warning.
• Suspension of his/her playing privileges for a defined period of time.
• Permanent suspension of his/her playing privileges.
• Revocation of his/her Annual Pass and/or Lifetime Pass without monetary reimbursement.
• Removal from the facility.
• Monetary restitution for damage to property.
• Forfeiture of all fees paid.
