Welcome to the Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills

The Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills opened in 1963 as one of the first 18-hole championship golf courses in the Northern Metropolitan area.

Hyland Hills now offers the 18-hole Gold Course, 9-hole Blue Course, two Par 3 courses, a driving range, and clubhouse. Recognized as one of the best courses in Colorado, the Hyland Hills courses hosted the 1st annual Colorado State Public Links Championship in 1965, and have hosted several other C.G.A. and U.S.G.A. events over the years.

2025-2026 Blue Course Construction Project

During the Fall and Winter months and extending into next Spring the following upgrades to the Blue Course will be taking place.  

  • 16,000 cubic yards of soil will be brought in and staged in the areas listed below
    • Behind (east) #7 Blue Green
    • #3 Blue Tees extending up to the fairway
    • East of #2 Blue Green (for Summer 2026 new #2 Blue Green construction)
  • New tees and tee complex construction #3 and #8 Blue
  • New green and green complex construction #7 Blue
  • Cart path installation #3 Blue Tee to Green, #7 Blue Green Complex, #8 Blue Tee to Green

The project will have the following impact on course set up until the new areas are complete and ready for play (late spring 2026):

  • Tee blocks will be set up in the beginning of the fairways on #3 and #8 Blue (Fall/Winter)
  • Once the sod is ready to be transferred over to the new #7 green a temporary green will be in use for #7 while the new green is grown in and the new approach is built (Spring 2026)

Thank you for patience while we complete these very exciting projects that will make the Blue Course even better!

Fall 2025 Greens Aerification Schedule:

Gold Course September 16th-17th.

Main Practice Green September 16th.

 Practice Chipping Greens September 22nd. 

Blue Course September 22nd. 

North Par3 September 23rd. 

South Par3 September 24th.

 

Fall 2025 Fairway Aerification Schedule:

Sept 8th - 11th - 8 Blue, 7 Blue, 3 Blue.

Sept 15th - 19th - 1 Gold, 2 Gold, 11 Gold, 12 Gold.

Sept 22nd - 26th - 1 Blue, 2 Blue, 9 Blue. 

Sept 29th - 4 Blue, 6 Blue.

Oct 6th - 10th - Make up week for any changes in the schedule.

Dates may change due to weather.

Practice Putting Green - Open.

Practice Chipping Greens and Practice Bunker- Open.

Pace of Play Recommendations:

Please keep up with the group IN FRONT of you. Please see the pace of play recommendations below.

-Max score Triple Bogey par: Par 3=6, Par 4=7, Par 5=8.

-Play ready golf.

-Play with the flagstick in.

-Tee it forward.

Care of the course

-Please remember to fix two ball marks on the green promptly.

-Please remember to fill divots with sand from sand bottles in cart/pull cart

-Please remember to rake bunkers, and to put rake outside of bunker after finished.

ALL WATER FOUNTAINS ON THE COURSES ARE FUNCTIONAL AND AVAILABLE- (May - October)

PLEASE USE MATS ON TEE BOXES WHEN PROVIDED

All players should check in at least 15 min before their scheduled tee time.

Players can make their reservation online 7 days in advance or by calling the Pro Shop 7 days in advance after 4:00pm.

Rain checks will be given electronically and placed under your player profile that will expire 180 days after being issued. 

Refunds will not be made for cancellations less than 24 hours in advance.

Cart Policy - Max. 2 carts/foursome, individual carts and extra carts are additional charge.

Singles that choose to ride will share a cart with the group they are paired with.

Hyland Hills is proud to announce that the number one green on the Blue Course will be open and playable starting May 24th, 2025! Please remember to fix all ball marks to keep playing conditions enjoyable for all. Thank you.

We are introducing our new range system – Range Star! You can exchange your range fob at the pro shop. fobs will expire 12-31-2025. Please call the pro shop at 303-428-6526 for more information. 

MINORS: 17 years of age and under – Golf Cart Rental requires a parent/guardian signature.

Frost Season: October 1st – April 30th.
November 15th – April 30th the Gold course will be using the winter greens located on holes 17 and 18.

First tee time: 7:00am

Gold – Fairway and rough only #3. 

Blue – On time.

Sp3 – On time. 

Np3 – Open.

Tee Project

Hyland Hills Golf Course is proud to introduce our new GPS pace technology. There will be new areas not accessible as listed below.
This week’s average pace of play is 4 hours 30 minutes!
-Please keep the golf cart on the cart path when available around tee boxes and greens.
-Please keep the golf cart 30 yards away from all greens as marked on the course by cart signs.

ADA cart accessibility – Please keep 30 feet from tee boxes and greens.
If you are in need of an ADA cart please inform the starter.

Our guests will be able to see restricted areas on the GPS screens as they approach that area.
If you happen to get within a restricted area please follow the steps prompted by the GPS screen and safely back your golf cart to a non restricted area.
Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed to spectate. Children 10 years of age and above will need to be accompanied by an adult.

-Please remember to fix any ball marks on the green promptly.

-Max score double par: Par 3=6, Par 4=8, Par 5=10.
-Play ready golf.
-Each golfer must have their own set of golf clubs to ensure pace of play.
